National Exhibition of Scientific Projects

While traveling across the Atlantic, the Compilatio team visited the National Science Projects Expo hosted by Youth Science Canada. This event was a great opportunity to discover the 2 or 3 best projects by region among the 458 proposed, and find the winning project. These projects were all done by students.

Youth Science Canada: The role of Compilatio

All of the projects were analysed by Compilatio’s Copyright software to detect potential plagiarism in the works. According to Reni Barlow, director of Youth Science Canada, everything would have gone well in terms of use and detection, but a project was chosen for plagiarism. Because of plagiarism, participants were disqualified and the project was not presented during the day.
